“Art isn’t just about brushes, paints, pen, papers etc to me - it’s a part of my soul, it’s one thing which is extremely personal to me and the idea that I or my art would help someone just made me unexplainably & inexpressibly happy yet nervous about how to begin it. Heart - The name that instantly struck to my mind - the idea that it has the word ‘Art’ in it and the sole reason for me to start this initiative - to make people’s heart happy & that I am doing it with all my heart, made me come up with this name. Ever since I started creating art, I always knew I would do it for philanthropic causes. Hence, Heart was the first step to accomplish my goal of touching hearts. Engaging in social work made me realise the importance of kindness and compassion. It caused an impact on the way I pursue objectives and make sensitive decisions. Interacting with people of different cultures made me learn and experience different perspectives. Heart conducts various donation drives, campaigns and art exhibition fundraisers. This initiative made me realise that everything is beyond materialistic things and what matters is the happiness we can find in little things. I found a true purpose of my existence & I realised this is what truly makes me who I am. I dream to touch and make as many hearts smile as possible. I may not be the best but I try to do the best I can as I know that my efforts would bring a slight change in someone else’s life. The realisation that I have made a significant contribution towards a better tomorrow elated me and has created a sense of responsibility, satisfaction and self-motivation in me to do more.”
